We used fondant icing for the cake. The bride's colors were gold and red. We did a special design on the cake then used pearl dust to create a gold shimmer on two cakes to pick up the gold in the bridal party dresses. The other two cakes were decorated in white with pearls around the cakes. The bride choose gumpaste orchids as the flowers to adorn the cake and for these we tipped the edges with a little of he red and used other filler flowers such as stephanotis. They were placed on the top tier and ran diagonally across the cake as she requested.

This cake serves about 165 people.
