What we have been doing is to ship the cakes naked as baked and you have a bakery or decorator in your area, ice the cake and do the decorations.

Of course the other problem most of you have is that most of these people do not know how to make the hard icing that we put on rum cakes. To solve that problem, we have also been shipping the "hard' icing with the cakes if you so desire. Bear in mind rum cakes are heavy already and sending ready icing is also heavy, so be prepared to pay a good amount for shipping.
